Samba!
SMU Samba Band

I went on to, www.youtube.co.uk to look for samba videos, I watched a few videos but didn't find any that appealed to me, then I found this one, the reason I choose this samba video is because it's really fun and upbeat, it has a really funky beat to it and everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves.
The performance is really good, they are all dancing and look like they are having a really good time, they are all dressed in white they haven't got any logo's of anything on they're clothes, The location is at the launch of the ABC Waters exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum.
My own experience of Samba, I find it really fun and intresting how all the different instruments make different noise's but when all played together is sounds really good, another thing i find intresting is how you can play any kind of music using these instuments, including; Dub-Step, Drum And Bass, Funky Etc. It includes alot of concentration as you have to listen to what everyone else is playing and try keep in time with everyone else. It teaches you communication skills aswell as you have to know what everyone is doing. I really enjoy going to The Junction on a thursday to play Samba.

Plans For Todays Campaign

Today I will be campaigning for Child Abuse to stop, I am planning to go to the town center of Cambridge, The people i am hoping to speak to are parents and other general people, I am not sure on how long it will take but it shouldn't take long no longer than an hour i should think.
The methods that I'm going to use to influence opinion are information and persuasion.
My expectations for this campaign today are to raise awareness about the issue, and hopefully to let people know that it has to stop!!
